1. What this is
The KI Performance app is a coaching tool for amateur boxing. It stores footage, notes and progress for an athlete and shares them with that athlete’s coach and guardian. It is not a medical device, not a fitness tracker, and it gives no medical, dietary or weight-cutting advice.
2. Accounts and who may use it
- An account is created for you by your club or coach. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself.
- Where the athlete is under 18, a parent or guardian must be involved in creating the account and holds a guardian account with full visibility of the record.
- Do not share an account. A coach must not use an athlete’s account, or the reverse.
3. What you upload
- You must have the right to upload the footage you upload. In practice that means: it is of you, of an athlete you coach with their guardian’s agreement, or of a bout you were entitled to record.
- Do not upload material of anyone who has not agreed to be recorded, and do not upload anything unlawful, abusive or unrelated to coaching.
- You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only in order to run the features described in the privacy policy.
4. Coaching content is the coach’s, not ours
Notes, scores, plans and instructions in the app are written by the coach using it. We do not review them and we are not responsible for coaching decisions. Training and combat sport carry risk of injury; that risk is between the athlete, their guardian and their coach.
5. AI features
The app drafts observations from video, transcribes and translates speech, and answers questions from the athlete’s own record. These are assistive and imperfect. An AI-drafted observation is not visible to an athlete until a coach approves it, and no AI output should be treated as a coaching instruction on its own.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice and a way to export the record.
7. Ending it
You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, in particular the rules in section 3.
8. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data where you have not kept your own copy of footage that matters to you.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
